🕺 DANCE DANCE DANCE!!! 💃

I hope you are doing well!

Here is a thread that I started in November 2018 without ever finishing it. I'm a little ashamed, but I'm happy to make it on the new blog.

However, it's a theme that I like because it concerns dance and more particularly modern dance. Indeed, it's a child's dream that never came true, i.e. learning modern dance.

I spent my weekends in the night clubs (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) for almost 3 years (from the age of 18). I can say that I enjoyed these 3 years and the music at that period (80s and 90s) was great.

Then techno dance appeared and it was hell!

Fortunately and despite the fact that it was late (2010), I found my happiness in the Kpop and the pleasure of seeing handsome young men dancing to synchronized choreographies and, as a bonus, with music that reminded me of my youth! hahaha!!!

It's been almost 10 years now and it has brightened my life! YAY!!!

There are many types of dance but here is a list of the top ten dance styles we can see regularly:

Dance is a performing art form consisting of purposefully selected sequences of human movement.
This movement has aesthetic and symbolic value, and is acknowledged as dance by performers and observers within a particular culture.

Dance can be categorized and described by its choreography, by its repertoire of movements, or by its historical period or place of origin.

An important distinction is to be drawn between the contexts of theatrical and participatory dance, although these two categories are not always completely separate; both may have special functions, whether social, ceremonial, competitive, erotic, martial, or sacred/liturgical.

Other forms of human movement are sometimes said to have a dance-like quality, including martial arts, gymnastics, cheerleading, figure skating, synchronized swimming, marching bands, and many other forms of athletics.

What does dance mean to you?
What kind of dance do you like? (examples: rock, acrobatic rock, ballet, synchronized swimming, figure skating, contemporary dance, kpop dance, cheerleading, ....)?
Do you like movies where there is dance (all kinds of dance)? Which have you ever watched?
Do you have any memories of having danced during an event (at the end of the school year for example) or with someone at a party / rave-up (a close relative, a boyfriend, ...)?
Do you like to dance (alone, with someone) or have you ever participated in something related to dance?
Would you like more dramas about dance?
What are the dramas that you have already watched related to dance?

Don't forget to recommend this thread (if you like it) and subscribe (if you haven't already done so).
You will be blessed!
